We gathered to reflect and
acknowledge the children, the people, who have shaped our lives, and then,
who left too soon.
Friends returned from far reaches
of the state, as well as from out of state, to share in this special day as
we decorated memory stones, walked to the lake, and read entries posted by
family and friends.
As if on cue,
the sun reached through the clouds as we released the hundreds of balloons.
